The role of CITI is critical in keeping the University's curriculum in-line with the needs of the Denver business community. CITI provides a unique opportunity for technology business leaders to directly interface with educational decision makers resulting in a stronger bond between the University and the business community. The benefits of CITI for the students are many: a better understanding of the role of technology in leading companies, the opportunity to interact with local business leaders, and a feeling of confidence that their education will result in a challenging and profitable career.

Membership in the Center for Information Technology Innovation

CITI recruits and retains approximately thirty prominent organizations from the Rocky Mountain area as corporate members. These members are by invitation only. There is a qualification process before corporate membership is granted. Only active COOs, CIOs, CTOs or Directors of Technology are considered for membership.

CITI is funded entirely by these corporate members so that its mission and activities can be aligned with those of its members and the Business School. The center is focused on providing many tangible benefits to its members. This is truly the only vendor free environment to exchange ideas and interact with peer level IT business executives. The current level of annual contribution for corporate sponsorship is $7,500.
